Putting Canadian Organic Acreage on the Fast Development Track
Presented by Canadian Organic Growers
COG is currently studying the barriers within the organic supply chain in Canada that are preventing more farmers from transitioning to organic. This interactive workshop will be a roundtable and discussion on those barriers. It will include what economic and environmental policies and regulations are needed municipally, provincially and federally and where farmers or the private sector can lead. There will also be a discussion on the educational role that provincial and national organic associations can play to support transition.
