It is recommended because if your product is not now certified, or if not certifiable in its current form, we reserve the right to refuse your booth application. Approvals, however, may be made on a case-by-case basis. We welcome other significant and/or novel commodity categories which may currently function outside Canada's organic regulation, such as pet food, textiles, cotton, cannabis plants, cosmetics, soaps, retailers, restaurants, bamboo, furniture, etc.

You can skip the drive and take Via Rail or GO Transit to Guelph Central Station (about 10 minutes from the University). There are a number of local buses that stop at the University Centre Loop, which is right outside the UC Building, the heart of the GOC!

Uber is operational in the city of Guelph, however please be aware that competing rideshare service Lyft is not yet available within Guelph.

If you'll be out late with us at a GOC social, we recommend opting for a ride home with one of Guelph’s local taxi companies, to avoid Uber’s “surge” pricing during peak service hours. The three main services in Guelph are Red Top Taxi (has an app, as well as online booking options), Guelph Taxi, and Canadian Cab.

There are a few hotel options to choose from that are located close to the conference area. Delta Hotels, Staybridge Suites,  and Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Guelph are just to name a few.
